End of July update

With July slowly coming to an end, I should probably do one more blog post. I know a lot of you have noticed that I've been silent on social media and I haven't done a whole lot of anything related to writing. A lot of it is because I'm bogged down by wedding planning and a lot of it is my own issues. It's very hard to get things down when you're being piled on by other things left and right. It gets hard to focus on writing with other factors coming in. So I've had to cut down on writing and take a little break for myself. That means I've got to implement a few changes.

First, I'm not going to be sending in a story of Solstice's fantasy or sci-fi anthologies. I simply do not have any time to come up with anything and I'm not in the mindset to do anything fantasy/sci-fi related. Not to mention, the due date is August 1st and I will not be able to get 5000 words down on something brand in two days. I probably will wait until the Winter Solstice anthology to send something in.

Although I took a break from writing, I'm slowly getting back into it. I made it to 31k on Ghosts of Burning Inn #3, which is pretty good for me. Rather than try to do 4000 words a day, I'm going to cut it down to 500 a day. I need to take a baby steps to get myself back in this writing mindset. I promise that once this wedding is over, things will go back to normal and I will hopefully be writing at a normal pace. Until then, just try to bear with me.
